La Pedrera - another Gaudi building. Photo by: Greg   Date: Easter 1998 A bit further on up the same street as the "Block of Disaccord", you come to another Gaudi masterpiece La Pedrera. It was built between 1905-1910 and is a mixture of apartments and offices. The outside has a fantastic rough stone effect over a wave-like facade. There is an interior courtyard which you can go into and on up into the roof, where there is a mini-museum of the construction of the building. Up on the roof itself there are some fantastic chimney pots .... Click on image for next in series or here for the index
