Chenonceau As everyone else was sick/been there/about to go there, Jan went into Chenonceau alone, and did a whirlwind tour. Amazing to find out that the long hall depicted in the photo straddled the occupied and the unoccupied zones during WW2, and many a person is reputed to have escaped here.
