BT - Official satellite telecom supplier to Clipper Ventures
28 July
by Colin de Mowbray
Not a lot today but the excitement is about to start as we approach the crew change. Sir Robin will be returning to the real world and handing over command of Ariel to Jim Thom who thinks that skippering a boat in Greenland will be an easy task after managing the refits of all eight Clippers. We will look forward to his remarks.

Anchored back in Maries Haven for the night. Lots of ice came through overnight which is going to add a bit of interest. We will set off in 40 minutes for Kulusuk and our objective is to get through to the settlement at Kap Dan. I suspect it is going to be a long day and I will keep you informed of our progress. Hey ho. It's 4 AM and thank goodness for my cup of coffee! RKJ

How could he just say that about his coffee without attributing a brand to it! We have talked about Guinness, cup-a-soups, BT Communications, ARCS charts and Euronav seaPro 2000 but we obviously need to rebrief Robin on his make of coffee. Lets face it he is not going to get an endorsement from Wilkinson Sword or Gillette!
