Not Wilderness
Refugio Dickson on Lago Dickson was a site for sore feet. This was our destination after a very long day 3and we were near exhaustion. We had been carrying 12+ days worth of food, as this part of the park was closed. However, the hut was open and supplied by a mate drinking gaucho (cowboy) and his wandering horse. We spent two nights in the hut and left several days worth of food behind. You can see the Dickson gacier in the background that comes off the ice cap into the lake. A small berg is grounded near the hut.
