Bryce Canyon in a rainstorm Photo by: Jan   Date: Bryce Canyon is spectacular - that's for sure. We seem to have arrived in peak rainstorm time, so we got a lot of gloomy looking photos, even tho the rocks themselves haev vibrant colours. I think maybe the rain even enhanced the rock colours. I forgot to bring my walking boots, and when rain hits all of that sandstone, it turns into gooey sticky sucking mud. I had a great slide to the bottom of the canyon and had to get towed back up the path. Click on image for next in series or here for the index
