| Doing it tough eh??? We spent 3 days at the Melia Cayo Guillermo resort. One of the main attractions of the resort was an enormous free form pool, equipped with a bar at water level. Greg enjoyed strolling to the dining room for brekky in his swimmers, splashing into the pool and swimming over to the bar for the first Mojito of the day before the sun was fully up! He was looking forward to doing some diving, as the waters around there are unspoilt and full-o-fish. Only problem was that he got an ear infection on his very first outing and spent the remaining 2 days pumped up on antibiotics and ear drops and what have you. The resort also has windsurfers, catamarans and plastic kayaks for use, but when we were there, a hurricane made the winds a little too strong for enjoyable activities involving sails :-( |
