| We hired a car on our last day and drove around Tromso and the surrounding fjords. We just missed the car ferry across the fjord by seconds and decided not to wait the 2hrs for it to come back and undertook even more of a drive around to see as much as we could in the limited daylight. The temperature varied as we drove from around -1C to around -5C. This fjord was in the process of freezing over. We also found some fjords with great big doors built into the cliff sides at water level that weren't marked on the map! |
