Aurora Borealis These pictures were all taken with a digital camera with a maximum exposure of 1 second, so they look a little dim and have been enhanced on the computer. But it was a clear night and the stars were very bright, yet the camera did not pick them up at all, so you can tell that the aurora is much brighter than the stars. I'm sure if we had a film camera that could do multi-second exposures, then the pictures would have been stunning. Anyway, we will make up with quantity what we lack in quality.
