| Just out of shot to the left is a little circus of snow ploughs with merrily twinkling lights doing figure eights clearing off the runways. Oslo airport is lovely - great big picture windows, huge airy ceilings, all panelled in light blonde wood. The thing that Greg loved about it was that the floors were all tile and the airport employees used foot-powered scooters to glide around noiselessly. He was on the lookout the whole time for an unattended one he could take for a slide, but (un)luckily he didn't succeed. He _did_ have a bit of fun at the airport on the way in to the country however, when his daypack got plucked off the xray machine conveyer belt and he was escorted to a curtained cubicle to be searched. And his crime???? He had a hip flask of Grand Marnier that showed up on the scanner!!!! |
