Chamonix Having left Val Thorens, Greg and Jan met up with Matt who had been just over the alp at Val d'Isere for the week and we all went to Chamonix for the weekend. This is the view from the hotel room (Hotel Faucigny, a very cosy little establishment right in the center of town). Even though the transfer was quick as we shared a taxi the whole way, we were all too pooped to ski the first day and slouched around town trying out various sundecks for optimum food/wine combinations.
